During the last several months, as Brisbane’s streets are lined with a variety of lush frangipani trees, I don’t think I’m alone in getting lost in the endless colour and beauty. Of course, in the land of weddings, frangipani has become a very dirty word. Who can blame us when we remember what the frangipani craze that swept through Australia was. I could not however deny their intense beauty and kept in their natural form surrounded by green foliage, they are so spectacular that I made a decision, let’s bring frangipanis back!
Cut to several weeks later and brainstorming with floral extraordinaire, Aurora Floral Studio, we were in full planning mode to bring our concept to life. We decided to suspend a full lush branch from her studio ceiling and style our space around the beautiful pink ombre flowers nestled amongst the greenery. Our branch would hang above an incredible grazing table made entirely of sweets and desserts and finished with a simple pavlova stack. Add four incredible cocktail outfits by Ginger and Gold Bridal and we had a truly lavish bridal soiree that oozed Summery goodness. As our bridal party switch from day to night, they continue their celebration wearing beautiful night wear by Silk Orchid Corsetry.
