When we decided to put this shoot together we were searching for an abandoned space which was naturally overgrown. However, after it was suggested by a fellow wedding vendor that we check out The Joinery West End, we knew we had found the perfect space to bring our vision to life. The Joinery was the perfect backdrop and the pops of neon pink & tropical greenery throughout really brought something extra to our bare canvas.
We decided to keep most of our styling as minimalist as possible and really let the colour in our greenery and custom hand written menus created by September Creative speak for themselves. The focal point of our entire shoot of course being the incredible 3 tier cake created by Hansel & Gretel which was exploding with colour.
Not only did we want to put together an edgy but modern style for inspiration but we wanted to ensure we were offering a sample of what’s on trend for 2016. We were able to do this by dressing our model in one of Jennifer Gifford’s latest gowns which was yet to be photographed for editorial and utilise The Joinery West End which is set to be Brisbane’s most popular wedding venue for 2016.
